Kalyana Tech Works ("we," "our," or "us") operates BizFlow, including the BizFlow admin platform and the BizFlow POS applications for web, desktop and mobile. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and safeguard your information when you use our inventory management platform and related services.

2. Information We Collect

Personal Information

We may collect personal information that you voluntarily provide when registering for an account, including:

• Name and contact information (email address, phone number)
• Business information (company name, address, industry)
• Account credentials (username, password)
• Payment information (processed securely through third-party providers)

Business and Transaction Data

When you use BizFlow we store the business records you create: products, stock levels, suppliers, customers, sales, returns, bills, payments and expenses. This data belongs to you and is processed only to provide the service.

Usage Data

We automatically collect certain information when you access our platform, including IP address, browser or device type, operating system, pages or screens visited and time spent in the application.

3. Device Permissions and On-Device Data

The BizFlow POS applications request the following permissions, each only for the stated purpose:

• Camera — to scan product barcodes and QR codes at the point of sale. Camera frames are processed on the device and are never uploaded or stored.
• Notifications — to alert you about sales, low stock and sync status. You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings.
• Local storage — to keep products, held carts and offline sales on the device so the POS keeps working without a network connection. Offline records are uploaded when connectivity returns and can be cleared by signing out.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information for various purposes:

• To provide and maintain our service
• To notify you about changes to our service
• To provide customer support
• To gather analysis or valuable information to improve our service

We retain your business records for as long as your account is active. After an account is closed we keep the data for 30 days so it can be exported or the account restored, after which it is deleted from our production systems. Backups are purged on a rolling 90-day cycle.

We rely on third parties for authentication, payment processing, file storage and push notification delivery. These providers process data on our behalf under their own privacy policies. Our platform may also contain links to third-party websites for which we are not responsible.

11. Children's Privacy

Our service is not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you become aware that a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.
